We are accepting Applications now. Applications are due by Sunday, Feb 9, 2025

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old by June 30, 2025.
• Applicants are not required to have a drivers license. If you have a drivers license, please input the information requested
• As part of this application, we require a letter of reference from a coach, teacher, guidance counselor, employer or family friend who can tell us about your character (level of responsibility, your ability to make and keep commitments, your sense of teamwork, etc). The person providing the reference letter must NOT be affiliated with CVAC, nor may that person be a family member. On the application you will provide the name of this reference, but the reference letter itself may be delivered to us either by US Mail or by email to YouthAdvisor@ChappaquaEMS.org (reference letters are due by the application due date: 2/9/25)
• We require a comprehensive list of the extracurricular activities and sports you expect to participate in for the entire year (NOTE - there are fields for each season). This will help us assess your availability to participate in Youth Corps, and we will discuss with you in an interview. You should include all activities that meet outside of school hours - sports, clubs, lessons, tutoring, employment (including summer employment), drivers ed, camp, planned travel, etc
• There are 2 fields on the application where you have to click on a policy to review - it will open in a new tab. After reading it, return to the application in the original tab
• After completing the application, you will see a page where you are asked to review and confirm your application. It will say:

Level Youth Corps Membership - Free

Subscription Period: Unlimited

     These are system fields and you can ignore them.  Simply click "Confirm"

• The Youth Open House for 2025 will be Sunday, Jan 26, 2025 at 1pm at CVAC Headquarters. Prospective Youth Corps members and a parent/legal guardian are encouraged to attend
• Parents will be required to read and sign a Terms of Youth Corps Membership form before you can become a member
• We will begin accepting applications starting in January, 2025
• Interviews will be in late February or early March 2025
• Accepted applicants are notified in early March and training will begin in late March '25
• Applicants will be required to bring a form signed by a parent to an interview. It will explain the commitment, responsibilities, and risks inherent in participating in our Youth Corps. This form will be emailed to you in late February 2025 along with your interview date 
• Reminder: if you are often unavailable on Tuesdays, or if you are unavailable to schedule the minimum number of shifts each month, including summer, then you do not meet the requirements for the Youth Corps
